Wii Game: Mario Kart Wii [Bundle] 2012

Wii - Simulation - Online Play - Nintendo - Rated E
Mario Kart Wii [Bundle] [Wii Game]
The original kart racer is back on track with a motion-controlled edition for Wii. The 2008 release features classic characters, courses, and cups from previous Mario Kart games, both on consoles and handhelds. New tracks and championships are available as well, along with a new vehicle type. For the first time in the series, characters can race motorbikes as well as go-karts. Bikes can perform wheelies, and mid-air tricks add a speed boost upon landing.
Many of the series' other classic power-ups return to the circuit in abundance, with plenty of koopa shells, bobombs, and invincibility stars. Several control schemes are available, making use of the Wii Remote (with or without the included snap-on steering wheel handle), the classic GCN controller or Wavebird, or the Wii's Classic Controller add-on. Following the lead of the DS version of the game, Mario Kart for Wii supports online multiplayer competition, for as many as 12 players in various modes. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide

Wii Game: New Super Mario Bros. 2012

Wii - Action / Adventure - Nintendo - Rated E
New Super Mario Bros. Wii [Wii Game]
Nintendo's signature series returns to its side-scrolling roots with new levels, new power-ups, and a host of multiplayer modes in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Players choose to guide Mario, Luigi, or two versions of Toad through a variety of colorful worlds on another quest to rescue Princess Peach from the clutches of Bowser. As always, the game worlds are filled with pitfalls and enemies, but players can fight back thanks to the new ice flower, which allows them to hurl snowballs, the new propeller mushroom, which lets gamers float through the air, and the new penguin suit, which provides surer footing in icy environments. The game makes use of a classic Super Mario Bros. control scheme, though propeller-suit actions and the spin jump incorporate the Wii Remote's motion sensitivity. Multiplayer action comes in both competitive and cooperative forms, letting up to four gamers interact with the environment and one another in a variety of helpful or hurtful ways. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

Wii Game - Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure 2012

Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure [Wii Game]
Wii - Action / Adventure - Rated E10+
Spyro the Dragon joins forces with a group of small creatures known collectively as "Skylanders" in this unusual combination of toy and game. The magical realm of Skylands has been guarded by the Skylanders throughout its history. Now an evil entity called Kaos has banished the Skylanders to Earth, turning them into figurines in the process. With your help, the Skylanders can reclaim their land by attacking Kaos and his horde of loyal minions. The character you control in the game is created from an action figure that connects to each platform through a "Portal of Power" docking system.
Each toy can be brought into the game, earn experience, increase its level, and grow more proficient in combat over time. You can then bring the toy over to a friend's house and transfer your character into his or her game, regardless of platform. The toy itself stores the character data needed to participate in the action, which includes both two-player cooperative and competitive play. The game is played from a third-person perspective and features fast-paced ranged and melee combat, magic, treasure-hunting, puzzle-solving, and other surprises. A total of 32 characters are supported, three of which are included with each
Version of the game. ~
